[SOLVED] Tempo fader should be flipped around! Or at lease a setting option.
How many of you think, the CDJ 2000 tempo should be flipped around? Where moving the tempo UP is a higher BPM, pitch, etc
Musically this makes more sense.
Please Pioneer flip the tempo fader around! Or at lease give us a setting option.

It does not make sense to me to switch the pitch fader direction.
If you beatmatch by ear on turntables or cdjs you'll see why: when you nudge in one direction then you'll also move the pitchfader in same direction. If you nudge the record/jogwheel clockwise it means that the cueing track is slower than the playing track, hence you'll have to increase the pitch pulling it down. If you nudge counterclockwise you're too fast and you need to slow down the track by pulling up the pitch fader. Clockwise and down, counterclockwise and up.
Easy and intuitive. Why do you want to break something that is working properly? :)
How many of you think, the CDJ 2000 tempo should be flipped around?
probably no one, this is how it's been forever as a standard in turntables and cdj's
yah, absolutely not! You are showing your DJ inexperience just for suggesting it!
you are all right...all CDJS, turntables etc (not only pioneer) has a slider to work like this...
@juilia Very good point, you make. Overall, I was mostly trying to say it would be nice to have it as a option setting.
Thanks for all the feedback guys!
I think we can call this "case closed!"
