[SOLVED] cdj 400 not playing cds right
one of my cdj 400s does not play cds correctly, the quality sounds horrible, two questions -
can I use a commercial head cleaner disc?
should i re download drivers? firmware? Please let me know a fix, thanks in advance.

NO! Never use of of those lens cleaners, they will likely do more damage than good.
If it plays USB drives fine, then the problem is likely the alignment / focus of the optical system and you should have the player serviced properly. Contacts for tech support are located to the right - they can direct you to an authorized shop.
