CDJ 2000 Nexus & Mk1 & DJM 2000 Nexus sync?

Hi Pioneer (Pulse, Gavin... ),

nowhere on site is answer for my guestion about BPM sync.

  • What exactly do new FW with old CDJ 2000. Is now possible use BPM sync between old and new model (new Nexus - master, Mk1 slave)?

  • Will be new BPM master function on DJM 2000 Nexus working with old CDJ 2k Mk1, or is dedicated just for CDJ Nexus?

Thank you.

Gavin

@Ondrej > Firmware 1.0.6 for the CDJ2000nexus has no effect on the CDJ2000. It won't work with it. You can network the two players together and play from each others source but thats it. Which BPM master function are you referring to on the DJM2000nexus?

Gavin: Thanx for answering...

  • I mean 4.2. FW for old CDJ 2000... Mk1 4.2 + Nexus

  • Name of function is SYNC MASTER ... is dedicated just for CDJ Nexus?

Gavin

@Ondrej >

"“SYNC MASTER”, collectively controlling beat of multiple players. Beats (tempo and beat position) of tracks playing on CDJ-2000nexus connected to the mixer via LINK can be automatically synchronized with the master clock of the mixer. The playback tempo can also be adjusted using the mixer touch panel. The unit’s Quantize function uses “PRO DJ LINK” to retrieve rekordbox™ BPM and beat grid information from connected players*2 or laptops, to automatically sync all Beat Effects in perfect time with the mix."
