Not so compatible DDJ Ergo and Traktor?

I already dowloaded and installed the mapping file of the ergo to the newest version of Traktor but I can't make work some stuff like the special effects for example. Is it possible to make it work? I know is "specially made" to work with Virtual DJ SE but it really sucks.
