[SOLVED] Sliproll Pitch = Broken :(
Hey, I just noticed that when I set my X-Pad to slip roll, and change the pitch, every time i slide the slip roll to another speed, the pitch goes back to the normal pitch it was rolled at for one bar/roll, and then jumps back up/down
As the normal roll does not do this, I think this an error and not the intentional function.
Could we get this patched up next patch please? :D

Good spot, +1 from me. As you say it keeps the original pitch for the first roll, particularly noticable on a slip roll of 1/1 or longer.
@T-Top > Just tried to recreate this and couldn't detect an error... Can you post a video?
Sure I'll take one tonight! Check back tomorrow :)
Here we go

Certainly what I can recreate is that it takes the 2-beat loop part of the X-Pad 2-beats before engaging the pitched effect; same with the 1-beat loop. I suspect it also is the case the further to the right of the X-Pad (but its more difficult to detect). I'm not exactly sure whether it is or is not a bug but I'll see what the engineers have to say.
Yes - seems like an error to me, it should never go back to the normal pitch
If you do what I was doing with a normal roll (hold the pitch all the way up and constantly move back and forth between roll speeds) the pitch will never go back down to the normal pitch, it will stay with however you set it with the knob
Thanks for passing it along to the engineers!
@T-Top > It appears I was right:
thanks gav for letting us know!
I really appreciate that you are in contact with the engineers who provide us with direct and clear answers.
That makes sense, it's unfortunate but thank you for checking and providing us with the answer, really appreciate it!
You're welcome guys!
