Recording onto iPad with DJM-900??
Has anyone recorded a live set from the USB out on a DJM900s soundcard into the camera kit using an iPad with GarageBand? Is this possible or do I need to buy another soundcard?

Uhm, the camera kit isn't capable of recording audio.
Yes it is possible but not with GarageBand. There is an app called studio mini that uses the camera connection kit. Also audiolio. If you were going to go down the route of using the iPad it might be worth looking at the Alesis I/O dock. But you can just record direct to your pc or mac using the USB from the DJM900 without the need for an expensive sound card.
ok thanks guys might just buy a cheap usb powered soundcard and record via record out that way can just take ipad to my sets
@Hesitant > Ah, I see -- it uses a soundcard connecting to the USB; I meant in my reply that the camera kit itself doesn't act as an audio connection for input audio. ;)
There are a few solutions out there to record into the iPad / iPhone; be sure it's compatible if that's what you're out to buy!
