USB FLASH DRIVE 64gb or 128gb

USB FLASH DRIVE 64gb or 128gb can you use these drives in the CDJ2000 , like the Kingston Data Traveller range for instance ?

Buy the best / fastest drive you can afford. The Data Traveller drives aren't exactly high-performance. I personally recommend using the SanDisk Extreme Pro USB drives, or if you want to go larger, a Samsung T5 or T7 SSD are blisteringly fast and can hold terabytes worth of data.

Side note: CDJs also support HFS+, which is preferred thanks to journaling as it can help prevent file corruption.

Not sure you should go that high in GB. I use a 32gb and works well. I also have an 8gb that I store all the current songs and top hitter songs.

@ andycalder > Yes the flash drives should work in the CDJ-900's and CDJ-2000's, as long as they are formatted in FAT32. I also agree with iamel though, I don't think 128GB is worth the $$/££/€€ right now. Those are kinda expensive and I think a 32GB would do great. You might not be able to hold your entire library on a flash drive with 32GB, but as long as you keep your music fairly up to date, you shouldn't need anything larger right now.

Example - On an 8GB flash drive, I can fit over 2 days of music, so at least 1 day of mixing material including the Rekordbox files. So if you don't mind updating your music here and there,  it might be good to save a huge chunk of cash and get 1 or maybe 2 smaller flash drives. Unless those massive ones are on a huge sale or something. ;)

CDJ's support only FAT32 format system. This system available only on drives 32GB or less. You can format your drive into FAT32 with special softwares, but I don't think it will works fine.

Try smaller flashdrive :)
