DJM900 & 2CDJ2000 on Traktor Scratch Pro 2.0.1
Hi,
I just upgraded from the 800 to the 900nexus, however I also upgraded my Mac from Snow Leopard to Lion (which impedes me of using timecode, do to a software-driver error) and now I am curious to know the how the would the optimum setup would be for this combination. So far from all that I have read on all other posts and the videos that have been posted I understand the following:
Setup the the DJM900nexus with Traktor Scratch Pro (through a USB cable) as a timecode controller. Next plug in the 2 CDJ2000 into the respective channels and connect them through LAN cables to a switch hub, in which the DJM900nexus should also be connected to by LAN cable as well.
Please correct me if I'm wrong in this setup.
With this said, I have a some questions regarding what can be done:
-With this setup, one should be able to digitally record into Traktor?
-Will the CDJ2000 still have the "red light, live on air" function?
-Will I be able to control the DJM900nexus as a MIDI, so I can edit the map, and control the Traktor effect units on the desired knobs?

-Will I be able to control the DJM900nexus as a MIDI, so I can edit the map, and control the Traktor effect units on the desired knobs? Yes djm 900 is midi mappable.
