post fader rekordbox dj efx/djm series mixers
Hi Someone want to sort me out on this, if I use the djm 750, will the effects from rekordbox dj be post fader if I use soundcard of mixer, if so along with the midi support I may just be eating my words as stated b4 on this forum I said I would not invest in this software, looks as though the tide has changed

If you use the DJM in external mode, the rekordbox effects would not be post-fader as the audio is sent to the mixer on each channel and the internal effects would be applied before being sent to the device. Effects on the DJM itself would be post-fader (if they are of the post-fader variety).

what if the djm t1, was used as a midi device and was internal, for example the effects in pioneer rekordbox dj were midi mapped and was internal like traktor do u think this is plausible
If you had it set to internal, you'd get the rekordbox effects post fader (if they are a post-fader type effect, like echo), but then you're losing all the advantage and functionality of using the DJM-T1 as an output device as the master output audio from rekordbox would go entirely through one channel of the mixer, so you couldn't MIDI map that channel.
