CDj Nexus 2000 problem

So i just recently got a cdj 2000 nexus deck. i have a cdj 2000 that reads my flash drive fine and also just yesterday i played on my friends xdi-rx2 and it read my flash drive just fine. i was going to play on some open decks the other night and i plugged my flash drive into their nexus 2000 and its said "rekordbox database not found." thinking it was a device problem i plug in my flash drive to my cdj nexus 2000 that i just bought and it said the same error message. weird thing is it reads my tracks still just fails to put it into my playlist and gives me a fat track list and takes a very longtime to load them in. any ideas on what is going?
