Confused About metadata

First question first.  Does/Can the cdj1000 mk3 read metadata from an mp3 file to display the track name, artist name, etc on the ldc display?   (I have burnt a cd with mp3 files and it seems to cdj is only reading the file name.  If it cannot read mp3 metadata I assume it can only read 'normal cds' as it can read track name, artist name etc from them).  Any help much appreciated - there is lots of info. on how the burn a cd but I haven't found anything on metadata.
