Pioneer XDJ-RX2 Cue making popping and crackling sounds
I paid alot of money for this gear it has been sitting at home on my desk, i always have been taking really good care of it and never dropped it or spilled liquids on it. I have this clicking and popping sound when i press cue on the channel im mixing in next, it happens on both sides. I have a festival coming up soon and I can't even bring my gear with me.. so now i have to learn whatever gear they have there on the fly? I have always been happy with pioneer so i saved money to buy this awesome piece of gear that seems to have some kind of hardware issue. I tried resetting it, updating firmware multiple times. various audio files/file types and its always the same issue.
please help

also tried multiple usb sticks in FAT32 as i prefer to dj only on the USB drives and not running it from rekordbox on the pc
i feel like i keep getting brushed off, is it because my warranty is expired? seems like an issue lots of people are having, seems unfair i have to pay for it to be serviced when it's more than likely a defect.
Matt did you ever resolve your problem? I am having the same issue with crackling and popping sounds in my headphones on a DDJ-SR2 and my Mac.
Hey Clifton, Nope... Sadly Pioneer hasn't helped me with the issue and clearly it's their problem considering a lot of people with the defect. I spent a lot of money on that and I'm still using my old get "Traktor S2MK2" because I cannot afford another one! :(
Matt, Pioneer helped me solve my problem last night. Can I ask you, which music software are you using? I use Virtual DJ.
