Dear Forum Curators - Why did my post disappear?
Dear TORAIZ Team,
I recently posted a few questions/observations/ideas with the title
"TORAIZ SP-16 Polite Requests for Improvement"
I got two reposes. One was from your team and I quote "Thank you for all this amazing feedback. I will forward this to the production team so they can try to make improvements".
And afterwards my post disappeared. Was it an error? Or was it deleted because I violated any of the rules of the forum? Please let me know. I'd like to put the post up again (maybe with modification so it doesn't violate any rules) because I'd like to hear from others who might have found solutions for those issues.

Hey guys, just so you're aware, we ask that ALL feature / product requests go into the suggestions forum for two reasons...
1) Our legal team has required us to include this disclaimer at the top of that forum section so anyone contributing ideas, or requesting features or updates, has a clear understanding of Pioneer DJ's responsibility and obligation regarding any comments posted:

While we do have some staff who work their way through the posts made all over the forum, it's hard for them to sift through the thousands of posts and comments made every month in order to find the core suggestions for the products.
While I understand you wanted to try and keep the TORAIZ topics separated from the DJ topics (as we have tried to do with the general posts), we still request that you contribute the suggestions there instead of here.
Oh, and @Jay, we do sort-of have it stickied... at the top of every page (other than the home page), you'll see this:

Hello Zig Zag,
The reason your post was moved was not for anything you did wrong. Pioneer is just moving any suggestions and Feedback regarding the TORIAZ to that category so that the engineers can review it. We haven't setup a Suggestion Category specifically for the Toraiz so we are moving them to the DJ Products suggestions. We do value your feedback and request so please don't be discouraged to continue giving us your honest opinion.

it's still there zig-zag but it has been moved to the 'product & feature suggestion' section. not sure why, makes more sense to keep all Toraiz discussion in here....
They moved mine there as well. Seems like they're kind of burying any posts that go in to detail about the Toraiz shortcomings in hope that potential customers dont dig around enough to see them? My post wasn't really a feature request.. More of a wtf?
i doubt that very much jay. this place is mainly a tech help forum with a backend behind the scenes that allows tickets to get opened directly with the engineers at pioneer.
maybe moving the posts to that place is easier for the tech team to see/review/consider? either way it's better to keep the posts here too as they can be useful for others and also to avoid everyone duplicating requests etc...
Thanks for the quick response. I'm not sure I mind being in the other section about feature suggestions. Potential buyers are not really my target audience. I was hoping to generate some discussion among users (may I say 'experts'). But I agree that TORAIZ-related posts are reasonable to be in the TORAIZ section. Maybe best would be to have the post in two places. I guess it wouldn't hurt anyone.

Fair enough. Just seems like discussion on toraiz features should be in the Toraiz forum where users and potential customers can all easily see and contribute opinion/suggestions. I don't think I have ever gone to a separate 'feature request' forum whilst researching hardware. Normally this stuff is 'sticky'd at the top of the main product forum, not separated..
Oh, and please don't double-post stuff, THAT will certainly have posts deleted. ;)
