New USB taking its time
burning a second usb as a backup and it seems to be taking its time, its a kingston datatraveler 100 G3 64gb, set it away and about 15% took nearly one hour forty five minutes... I've been using a sandisk 64gb 3.0 and that was taking around the same time to do the full 40gb of music i use... any ideas? using with my macbook as iMac not set up yet.

Sandisk haven't been the most reliable drives, and it's possible that your computer is only treating it as a USB2 device. Can you go to the Apple, go to About this Mac but before you click on it, press the Option key and it will go to System Information. On the left, click on USB and post a screen shot like this one:
