I'll be an old man once my tracks finish analyzing (Version 4)

Good grief I've been trying to organize my playlists on both versions 3 and 4 new Rekordbox software running Macbook El Capitan and it's been several weeks of SHEER PAINFUL HELL.  I have CDJ900s as well as the XDJ700 and have had to resort to selecting tracks on the actual players, Tagging them and then Creating unnamed playlists from there. Then I go to Rekordbox and it takes me 25 minutes to NAME the playlist. It would be quicker for me to hunt down 45 RPM 7" Vinyl versions of each song and just carry 3,000 singles with me again like in the good old days. Seriously frustrated as I've tried several computers and I have to Force Quit Rekordbox each and every time. Sometimes I get lucky and can name a playlist or God forbid actually drag a track into it from the software. But if it wasn't for the reliability of the CDjs I wouldn't be doing this at all.  I also teach DJ Techniques at a local Music college and we use Pioneer gear but until this is sorted out properly I'll be telling my students to BEWARE.

@Freddy > Do you have the software set to analyse in PERFORMANCE mode? The more cores your computer's processor has, the faster it will go. I've had it run 20,000 songs in less than 24hrs, including full key and wave analysis.

Thanks for the reply Yes here are my settings. I have noticed that there are times when I can access and move data around and other times (most times) It still takes ages.  I've been making all my playlists from the actual
players now to save time.

Update

I have several thousand songs on my current USB

Took me exactly 2 hours 42 minutes to move 3 songs to different playlists and add 4 songs from outside source and rename them etc..

I have to do this as I need the songs but its a royal pain in the ass and something I dread each time now. If I use a small USB 2 gigs or something I can do this quickly but I need to add to my large USBs

@Freddy > If it's taking that long simply to rename the playlist, I have to ask what your system specs are and if you have any other software running in the background.

As for the export times, if you already have a lot of audio on the USB device and export only 3 songs, if this is the first time you've done so since before rekordbox 4.0.8, it has to add new analysis data for possible use with CDJ-2000NXS2 players, and as a result, that initial export would take longer than subsequent exports.

Just updated to most recent version. I'd make a video of how slow this process is only I do not have enough memory in my iphone to make a 1 hour video. You have me by my throat Pioneer your like a bad girlfriend that a man must keep. You do the job. But painfully slow. Thank GOD I can make a new playlist from my players as this is my workaround. I make playlists then open Rekordbox and rename them. Saves me about 1/2 the time. (Ive disabled auto analyze) same drama. takes FOREVER. The ball spins no matter what I do. And NO programs running in background.

All I am trying to do is load a USB with thousands of songs. (32 Gigs) and drag files around to different playlists etc.. and at times add new tracks. This is a minimum 1 hour adventure each time no matter if its only 15 songs I'm organizing. Again sometimes I can do the bulk of the work inside a player. Then it works smoothly.

It actually takes me longer to organize my playlists then to play the actual gig. I'm SERIOUS
