Cannot use Mobile Sync, transfer to mobile device is disabled

I am using Rekordbox 6.7.5 on MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.5
My mobile device is an iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 16.6 and Rekordbox 4.0.3.1
I can connect to the iPhone from Rekordbox, but when I try to transfer a playlist I see the 'Transfer to mobile device' is disabled (as are all the other choices, 'Transfer to this computer', etc..)

How do I sync my mobile devices with my laptop?

After messing with it, I can now sync my play lists. Not sure what I did.
