Pitch resolution on ddjsb2 only 0.1%?
Only having pitch resolution of 0.1% is bad, we need 0.05%.
Can this please be added in a firmware update?

The DDJ-SB2 is meant for beginner use and it is limited by it's physical characteristics. The pitch fader is small in size and so it's movements are not as precise as a longer pitch fader.

Yes, it could even be used to control the 3rd / 4th decks.
(And the CDJ-350 gives you 0.02% pitch resolution with rekordbox DJ).

Shame there's no +-3% range, I'd imagine that could 0.05 resolution on the entire ddj range
With SYNC, it's actually a much higher resolution because the hardware is ignored.
Ah, SYNC, I just couldn't live with myself using it :). But thank you for your prompt and informative replies, I'll be keeping my sb2 now and not returning it
hmm as far as in know from disasembling such units the pitch fader is technically the same as on the rr. so it should be no Problem to adapt the "new"/higher pitch Resolution from the rr :-)
so maybe there's hope for a firmware update then?
like i mentioned earlier, i can move the pitch fader slightly and the bpm changes without a change to the pitch readout , so it is already doing a higher resolution than 0.1.
and if what you're saying is correct, then it's just an update that is required
