Sound distorted on DDj-Sr

Hi,
got issue with the sound coming from the DDj-SR device i got.
I have the issue on 2 machines, a mac bookpro and a msi gaming notebook. So i doubt that it is a performance issue.

Sound played on the software with out the controller is as it should be, but once i play start up the controller and play it through it, it becomes almost pure noise. Bass is no where to be found, mid is a mess and high sound is on animal levels probably. I updated the firmware and have the latest drivers/software running.

Would appreciate any tips and help that could get it running smoothly.
