XLR not working
On my DDJ-S1, RCA is working the XLR not working. Do I need my AC adapter for them too work?

Yes - the XLR output only works with the power supply. You will also notice that the LEDs are brighter when it is connected.
Also I noticed the jog wheel on the right doesn't work, is this because of the ac adapter?
The illumination or the jog itself? The jog should work, but the illumination should be the same on both sides.
When the song is playing, I held the jog wheel and the song kept playing. I plugged in the ac adapter, still no sound.
Tr6y shutting the unit off and closing Serato and then restarting everything with the power adaptor in.
If the song continues to play after the jog is held, it could be indicative of a hardware failure. Please contact Pioneer technical support in your region for further assistance.
Ok guys hers my problem, When I purchased the controller it had no ac adapter. The one I use at first didn't connect inside. I got the proper ac adapter and it worked fine, no issues at all. Some of the function will not work without the adapter, jog wheel etc;. They say plug and play, you need the adapter also.
