CDJ 350 jog wheel is very sticky

hi guys, i dont know what has happened, i may of spilt a small amount of a sugary drink on it, but im pretty sure that only went on the casing , never the less it works perfectly exept the jogwheel is sticky. so its hard to first spin it but then its fine, if you then leave it for 20secounds is sticky again.

Could someone please help :(((
