laptop specs
I bought the ddj rb and I'm wondering if the controller and software will work with a laptop that has 1.6 ghz procesor.

The minimum specifications are just that - the minimum. That's not even the recommended spec. A low speed / power processor will result in a poor experience with rekordbox.
It may work, but chances are, it will suck.
