Channel 1 issue with gain, low EQ and headphone level

Bit of a weird one. Not used my XDJ-RX for a while. Had a play on it last week and no problems.

Today I turn it on and I have multiple problems:

  • The trim on channel 1 has no effect whatsoever and is sat at at about +3 on the lights. It sounds like there is low EQ cut being applied. This is with the headphones at the infinity symbol for being turned off, which leads me to...
  • When I turn up the level for the headphones it appears to affect the low EQ volume and also the trim somewhat - but it could be just that it has bass not being killed.
  • Channel 1 low EQ is not responding at all.
  • On both channels the Vinyl Speed Adjust has no effect and it has a minimal brake and release applied instead of stopping on the dime.

Channel 2 works fine apart from the vinyl speed adjust issue. As far as I can tell the rest of the unit function is OK.

Tested on multiple USBs, using as standalone unit. Firmware is 2.20.

Wow, yeah, that sounds odd - possibly a hardware failure. Please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have the unit inspected and serviced. Sorry about that!
