Export hot cues made on XDJ RX2 into rekordbox

See the title;

Is this even possible?

Situation:

I set hot cues on the XDJ RX2 in standalone mode and want them to show up in my rekordbox aswell (when I unplug the USB from the XDJ into the computer).

They hot cue points show up in the song in the history tap but I cant figure out how to get them in my library aswell.

Does someone know how to do this/?

Thanks in advance.

Yes - when you connect your USB drive back to your rekordbox library, right-click on the USB name in the DEVICES list and select Update Collection; any memory points, hot cues, grid edits, or star ratings will be updated in your collection.

Thanks for your reply Pulse.

However, the option Update collection is greyed out, any clue?

Pulse

Had you already updated the collection, or used the SYNC MANAGER?

Stefan van Dijk

Apologizes for my rookie skill level with rekordbox, but I cant answer that question.

At the moment, my library isn't updated yet, neither did I ust the sync manager (as far as I am aware off) (I dont know where to find this option anyway)

Pulse

That's good -- if you're not using it now, don't start, I don't (personally) recommend it.

Just to verify; the export device in question has had its contents exported from the collection you're trying to update, and some changes have been made?

Stefan van Dijk

Yes, like yesterday I exported my collection from Rekordbox to my USB stick.

Today, I made some cue points on the XDJ RX2 on a few songs.

I want my songs in my library updated with the cues I made today.

Pulse

You need to have rekordbox in EXPORT mode, not PERFORMANCE mode in order for "Update Collection" to work as expected -- sorry, forgot to mention that earlier!

Stefan van Dijk

Thankyou, its working right now :)

Thanks for all the help!
