XDJ in Rekordbox DJ: no waveforms
Hi there,
I'm evaluating Rekordbox DJ (performance mode) with two XDJ-1000s and one external mixer.
I can control Rekordbox DJ software using the XDJ-1000, but I cannot see the big waveforms in the XDJ-1000s decks.
Is this expected? Does this setup fall in the HID setup category?
Can you confirm there is no way to see the waveforms in the decks using Rekordbox DJ?

Correct; the large (moving) waveform is not displayed on the XDJ-1000MK1 when in HID control mode.

Do the XDJ-1000MK2 or newer CDJs suffer from the same limitation?
I'd like to a Rekordbox DJ - based setup as I'd like to use DVS with turntables, but I like the XDJ/CDJ to have the moving waveforms in the LCD display as usual.
Yes, the XDJ-1000MK2 does display the waveform on the player.
do they also Show the Phase meters? last time i played with cdj2knxs2 they showed the big waveform but not the Phase meters..so ist pretty useless :-)
No, there are no phase meters... but it's not useless -- rekordbox doesn't have phase meters either.
