Sync DDJ-RB to pro tools transport

Hey guys! Exciting project to attempt. I run sound and lights for a small stage. I use DDJ-RB to set off different cues and music. For certain shows I have midi that controls my DMX light controller so I play the song and midi from pro tools as oppose to bouncing it out to rekordbox. Want to find a way to trigger songs with the controller instead of laptop keyboard. Could sync it with transport? What do you guys think?
