XDJ RX LINK export mode not working anymore
Hello
I have the latest rekordbox installed on my laptop (with no ethernet port) and I have always used the LINK mode with a USB ethernet adaptor. Suddenly it stopped working (LINK button not showing) and I thought the adaptor (USB 2.0) was broken. Now recently I bought a new one (USB 3.0) and still the LINK button is not appearing. I tried turning off my firewall and everything. I really would like to have this working again.

Any time the rekordbox application is updated, it will require a new rule / permission be configured through your firewall. If the firewall is disabled and you are still having issues, verify that the network adapter you are using is working properly by opening the network control panel for that device. It may be worth noting that your wifi should be disabled during that time.
Alright so I experimented a little bit in the network control panel and indeed I got it working again. I had to turn off my virtual ethernet port for simulating Siemens PLC tia portal 14. It's weird that they don't work both at the same time. Anyways, thanks for the good and fast service!! :)
I have the same problem. Usb network link doesn't work, regardless of firewall. Only solution is to turn off WiFi etc. Then the RX2 is able to connect.
Some computers have a conflict when other devices are accessing a network - especially the Pioneer DJ products, as they aren't looking to speak with the internet or other computer network devices; they spew a lot of garbage data through that connection. Start by disabling other adapters, whether physical or virtual, or turning them off (eg. WiFi).
