Kontrol X1 Mk2 not showing up in the MIDI list

Hello,

I consider switching to Traktor to RDB. I'm using the trial of rekordbox 5.7

I'm trying (with no lock) to map my Kontrol X1. It's working flawlessly in traktor,

I pressed left+right+shift to enter midi mode (or open NI Controller Editor) reboot RekordB with no luck : nothing appears in the MIDI windows...

What I'm doing wrong ?  Is there a MIDI thing to turn on somewhere ???

Thank you for your help

Jay

On the top right side in rekordbox performance, have you checked the MIDI box?

Hi, I have the same issue. I have REKORDBOX in performance mode with a DDJ 200 and trying to connect my new KONTROL X1. My mac recognize the device when I plugged in but when I try to put the X1 into midi mode it does not work.

Could anybody give me a hand with it?

Thanks

Pulse

I know it works because I use an X1 with rekordbox quite often... although I'm also using a full license of rekordbox. I wonder if the DDJ-200 unlock doesn't allow for external MIDI... I'll have to check that.

I have the same issue, I've put my Kontrol X1 Mk2 into midi mode, and I open rekordbox whit a hardward unlock (DJM450) and the Kontrol X1 doesn't show up on the list of midi devices

Have you first opened the NI Control Editor?
