Library backup

I'm a new user of Rekordbox and some things are not clear to me yet.
I would like to make a backup of my track library, but the "rekordbox.xml" file that should be in my user folder is not there...
I use windows 7 professional and I have activated the display of all files and folders, but I can not find this file... where is it?
Furthermore, this file will not contain all the analysis results and my cue/loop points... how can I backup that information too?
Thanks for the tips.

You're better off to backup via the Library > Backup Library option, as that will also gather all the waveform and cue point data, not just the playlists.

I solved... it was enough to read the manual well and try the various menu items...
I have therefore saved all the important information for my collection and the "famous" xml file. :-))

Yes, I did just that: from the File/Library menu... it creates a zip folder with some files and folders inside.
I have just one doubt: Is it necessary to export the xml file separately or is it all already inside the library backup?

Pulse

The XML is really only necessary for other purposes, eg. exporting to another application.

AGdDj

I suspected it... :-))

Just to be clear. When you "Backup Library" your Rekordbox Library is literally backing up the tracks, as well as all of your comments, cue points, tags, etc?

Pulse

Your library, cue points, tags, playlists, comments, etc. -- yes.

Music -- no. You need to manually select that for export when prompted, and it's placed in a separate folder beside the database backup file.
