DDJ Ergo-V and Serato: Problem recording (audacity)
Hello, I have a laptop and I have a little trouble with my DDJ, I would like to record a mix with audacity
When I go through the microphone input of the PC, the sound is horrible. So I wonder if there would be no other solution?
Thank you in advance

Hy.
I have the same problem : the sound no pass by the PC but only by the DDJ.
So, i can't record from audacity.
Thanks for your help ;)
@Maxence > What iteration of Serato are you running?
@LoGo > What setup are you also running?
I use Serato DJ Intro
Audacity
-Change your Headphones input on your Macbook Pro within your System preferences > sound > input > down the bottom change
'Use audio port for: to > Sound Input
-Next open Serato Intro and Audacity. WIthin Audacity make sure you have your settings right for recording stereo sound.
-Audacity > preferences > Device: make sure it's on Built-in Input
recording : Channels: make sure it's on '2 (Stereo)'
-You can make changes to the 'Quality' and 'File formats' if you wish also within other Tabs in Audacity Preferences .
-Hardware: Run RCA to mini Jack from your ERGO to your input jack on the side of your MAC.
Thank you for your reply, unfortunately I use Windows and not Mac OS
well there's your problem jk hopefully it's similar setup. good luck
