SanDisk Extreme PRO 256GB Solid State Flash Drive, USB 3.1(Gen 1) Issue

This USB isn't popping up on the device list on Rekordbox. Using in Windows and formatted with FAT. Anyone know if there are any compatibility issues or is there a problem with the drive?

Thanks,

George

Neither of those are supported file systems; you need to use FAT32 or HFS+ (Mac) for it to be compatible as an export device with Pioneer DJ products, including rekordbox.

If you wanted to use that as a source for your files, it can be loaded as such and music can be imported to rekordbox, but as exFAT and NTFS are not supported by the hardware units, they can't be used for export.

See this article for some tools to use.

What tool did you use to format it, as Windows isn't capable of performing a FAT32 partition / format natively.

Hi,

I've tried formatting with both exFat & NTFS in the Windows Explorer menu.
