DDJ-1000 + XDJ-700 = standalone?
Title kind of says it all; as the mixer on the DDJ-1000 is hardware, is it possible to connect it to XDJ-700 (or any other pioneer CDJs or XDJs) and play from USB?

You can connect the XDJ through RCA cable and use them on the DDJ-1000.
Thats exactly how i also use my ddj 1000!! just set the mixer to external and you can use everything so the ddj is "standalone" without laptop
