Connecting the DDJ-SP1
I have 2X XD-1000MK2 and a DDJ-SP1, I have seen the diagram where you can connect the SP1 directly to the XDJ's top USB port. Keeping in mind you cant use a USB hub to connect the SP1 to the Mac, can you then use a USB hub to connect the 2 XDJ decks + Mixer (Xone DB4) + Mac? This is to get Rekordbox in performance mode and the sample functions working.

In performance mode, you would connect the SP1 to the computer, not to the XDJ.
Sp1 to mac and everything else to a usb hug with decks linked via LAN cable?
No LAN cable required if you're in PERFORMANCE mode.
Thank you Pulse, it just clicked i didnt need the LAN (unless i want to have them ready for USB flash drives link).
As the SP1 doesnt like USB hubs, does this also apply to the mac port adaptors (convert one of the lightening ports to USB)?
It can be used with a hub if it's powered.
Ah, thats awesome, the instructions (yeah i actually read some of it lol) mentions no hubs, I better get myself a decent powered USB hub then.
