DM-40BT Bluetooth tone is driving me insane

Hi all

Got some DM-40BTs thinking it would be great to throw spotify on them without having to power anything up.

BUT THEY WONT SHUT UP!

with or with out a device paired and even with DDJ-RBs playing through them they're constanly playing the BT pairing tone, tried everything.

Held the button down (not hard) till tone and light goes off but a few seconds later its back.. can I have some help before I lose my hair please!!!!
