Trouble switching accounts over for rekorbox

I recently bought a ddj-rr second hand. The previous owner gave me the activation key and I went through the necessary process to switch the program to my own account (deactivated the software on his account, and changed it to my own account) however when I go to activate it comes up error 19; software can't be used on more than one account. Thanks for your help!
