PLX 500 high pitch ringing noise while usb connected
All is well with the Pioneer plx 500 until I open up rekordbox to record my vinyl i get a ringing noise, and it records this ringing noise in my recordings. this really is a bummer because this turntable is useless if when i record my vinyl there is a high pitch ringing noise included in my recordings :( any suggestion? help etc etc what the f to do
Quick note: when i pull the usb out the noise goes away i have my plx 500 rca cable connected to a mackie big knob

Have you tried using it with a different USB port or another computer? It could be that there is a grounding issue with your computer and its USB bus causing this interference.
I tried all of the above pioneer this is really unacceptable because i need to do edits for my djing gigs
so i just wasted 349.00 usd thanks

I have the same problem. Please help, it drives me mad!
I had the same issue - turned out my mixer was causing it. Simply disconnecting the RCA leads from the mixer got rid of the noise.
