Not exactly -- if you don't have an SL box, mixer which supports the Club Pack or a controller that unlocks the software, you can't just use Serato. Serato DJ has specific requirements as to its audio interfaces and if you're not using one of them, you can't use the software even if you pay for a license.

If you are using a DDJ-SZ and want to use your XDJ-1000's, that's fine because the SZ unlocks Serato DJ, but if you have a DJM-800 and XDJ-1000's, it won't work simply because you previously used a DDJ-SZ; the DJM-800 isn't capable of supporting Serato DJ's audio requirements even if the XDJ-1000's can control the software.

Which firmware is installed on the XDJ-1000's? 1.05 is the latest; download and find instructions here.

Do you have them connected by USB or ethernet? You should have ONLY the USB cables connected.

Tengo la version 1.9 de serato y el firmware 1.05 y lo conecte solo por USB y no me lo detecta. tengo que comprar el serato? por que sino la verdad que no entiendo porque no me funciona. Gracias.

What is your audio device? Do you have an SL box or have you purchased a license to use a Pioneer DJM mixer with Serato? If not, you can't simply connect your XDJs to Serato for it to unlock the software.

yo antes tenia una pioneer sz y pense que podia usar las xdj 1000 sin comprar el serato, osea que con todo lo que gaste por las xdj 1000 ademas tengo que pagar 129 dolares por el serato?

Tengo 2 xdj 1000 y un pioneer djm 800 , que mas necesito para usar serato? Gracias

At the very least you would require one of the supported hardware items on the Serato DJ page.

The Rane SL-1 box has been discontinued; the Rane SL-2 box or Denon's box would be the cheapest options.
