DDJ - 1000 AUDIO DELAY
I seem to be stuck with a brutal audio delay. Seems like my speakers are constatly delayed so the only way i can match a beat is with headphones. Laptop has i7 processor with 8g of ram (supposed to be top of the line in 2016) but changing latency settings does not fix this. Is this an issue with my stereo or with the hardware / software? TIA

Have you updated the firmware? Also are you running effects while playing?
yes updated firmware but i dont think the effects ever caused me issues

big time! do you think thats my issue? non direct audio output? im gonna play around with the settings
Yup, absolutely. Audio processing in home stereo receivers can delay the signal!
fair enough thank you! i guess its time for some powered monitors then eh?
Or see if that unit has a bypass function? I know many have a "direct audio" or "simple stereo" mode.
