DDJ SZ Phono Issue...
Hi,
Gone to mix some vinyl this evening & my SZ has decided not to work..!! You can hear the needles playing the tunes, but there is no sound at all coming from the SZ. Tried altering the trim, but not a single light. Nothing out of the headphones either. The switches are on phono and I have tried every available combination but nothing. Cables have also been checked & all properly in.
When I first got the SZ I used it for the first week purely with vinyl as I had my laptop being rebuilt. No issues at all then. I've mixed vinyl with no issues. Any ideas on what is going on? I'm at a loss to explain this...

See this page re: the phono settings on the SZ as an initial troubleshoot.
Basically... connect the turntables to the Phono inputs. Switch the channel input to PHONO. Adjust the trim to a level where the channel meter shows activity (optimally peaking around 0dB). Raise channel fader, adjust master level.
Does this problem occur on all phono inputs?
