DDJ SZ /CDJs integration
Hi,
I've had my DDJ-SZ for about 7 months or so, works great but I wanted to know what integration would be like - A friend of mine has offered me a couple of CDJ850 Mk2's for cheap and I wanted to know - Can you plug these into the mixer utilising decks 3/4 and then run REKORDBOX for these two channels? I'm just not sure as the mixer isn't standalone.

You can run the audio outputs from the CDJs into the SZ's mixer channels, but you can't run rekordbox LINK for them. The CDJ-850's support rekordbox-prepared USB drives, but can not connect to the software as the CDJ-900's or CDJ-2000's can.

Thanks for answering! So it would work if I had 2 rekordbox prepared USBs plugged into each CDJ?
Yes, as there is no linking between players either, you require one USB for each CDJ-850.
