[SOLVED] Trade CDJ-2000nexus for XDJ-1000?
Been thinking of selling my CDJ-2000nexus's for a pair of XDJ-1000's as all I play are MP3s via rekordbox - seems to make sense.
What features, if any, will I loose? I've been looking but can't find any which will be sacrificial to me.
I will miss the the jog light, and I've always loved the green & orange rings around the Play/Pause and Cue buttons!
Maybe hold off until another XDJ player is announced?

I wouldn't do it personally it's just going a step backwards. Wouldn't you rather have the features and not need them then need them and not have it..
Stick with the Nexus then once the newer players come out in a few years you could sell and put towards them the XDJ won't hold the same sale value as the nexus
This video can be useful to watch before you take a decision. ;)
Its a side by side comparison of the XDJ-1000 and the CDJ-2000 Nexus.

Big points are the jog on the XDJ isn't tension-adjustable, there's only a single start/stop adjustment speed, there's no digital output, no optical drive and no SD card slot. But it does have a big touchscreen!
Regarding the touchscreen, I've seen side-by side pictures of the XDJ and the NXS and although the screen is larger on the XDJ,
the actual visual operable screen seems to be the same size, but also squeezed as to allow for the touch buttons which are found
around the screen of the NXS.
Am I right?
