RMX1000 Echo Pitch ???

I'm looking for an external effects device that makes the Pitch Delay effect.

My question is, has the RMX1000 Pitch knob may be used for purposes of delay?

Or the only thing it does is is a EFX1000?

Because I like more the RMX1000, that he can get samples and use them as a drum machine.
