Rekordbox, direct link and seach in rekordbox> search hangs for minutes
Dear support.
during 2 gigs and some preping i found something which i can not explain.
i have 2 cdj 2000 a djm 2000 and a direct link via Lan to a Macbook Pro (i7 4gb of memory and 250 Gb of free disk space) with a Rekordbox 2.02 I made a compleet new database with 30000 songs. and I want to seach for a song , after pressing the seach button and hitting the first lettre of the song to seach for Rekordbox hangs in the seach mode for more than 3/ 4 minutes before i can continue to add the rest of the lettres of the song that i was searching for.
I used a external thunderbolt Harddisk, a firewire harddisk , a usb 3.0 harddisk and a internal harddisk all have the same problem.
Is this a known issue?

Are you searching the tracks on an internal HD or on the external ones you mention?

I tried , a windows 7 machine with internal Harddisk.
and i tried a macbook with usb , internal, Thunderbolt disks and firewire disks
all the same issue internal HDD is a bit faster
but still there is a delay during search
