I always wanted to have the fader off the mixer. So I disconnected it and I made a 65 minute mix without any problems. So problem solved I don't have  to have that annoying crossfader bugging me in order to spin house  music, thank you PIONEER!!

Any modifications to the equipment are entirely at the users risk. Pioneer does give the option of not having to use the cross fader - set the channels to THRU.

I like! Did u cover it back? On the 800 should be very easy to cut out a cover for it. I think it would have been a great idea to have 4 knobs in there; for MIDI use specially.

Just put a small piece of electrical tape around the connection. And remove the crossfader and then add another strip of electrical tape to cover the slit of the original cover and then screw it back on and your done.
