Please Fix Quantize On Standalone Gear.

PLEASE add the quantize setting "Jump before reaching the next beat" to standalone gear such as CDJs and XDJ-XZ. Anybody else experiencing this issue please leave a comment.

This is a major issue with quantize that I've been experiencing with using standalone gear, I'll start by just talking about the issue with hot cues. The purpose of quantize is to snap the already playing track to the nearest beat grid when pressing a hot cue so that it doesn't fall out of time because people cannot press a hot cue exactly on the beat every time. Let's say that quantize is enabled and set to 1 beat, you would expect that pressing a hot cue within the 1/2 of a beat before or after a beat grid would snap it to that beat grid. This is not the functionality on standalone gear. When pressing a hot cue very slightly after the beat grid passes, it will wait to jump to that hot cue until the next beat. So, to get a hot cue to snap to a certain beat, you need to press the hot cue exactly on that beat grid or during the 1 beat period beforehand. Pressing it even 1 millisecond after the beat grid passes, the hot cue will wait until the following beat to jump.

When using Rekordbox's performance mode within a laptop, there is a setting "Jump before reaching the next beat". When checked, this will cause quantize to function as expected: the user needs to press a hot cue within the 1/2 beat range before or after the beat grid to get it to snap to that beat. Pressing the hot cue a few milliseconds late won't cause a 1 beat delay.

I had submitted a ticket for this issue and was told that this setting cannot be added to standalone gear and to "learn to press the hot cue slightly before the beat grid". Users should be able to press a hot cue "on the beat" and not have to worry about pressing it "early". Adding this setting to standalone gear would fix this issue for users that are experiencing this and would have the option to disable it for users that don't use this.

Another issue is that you cannot change the quantize value for loops (in and out), cue points, and reverse. These are all set to 1 beat and cannot be changed to 1/2, 1/4, etc. This is also frustrating, but less of an issue than the hot cue issue.
