rekordbox: outdated and obsolete files on USB after syncing
Ugh... the current community system is really horrible. There seem to be multiple parallel versions (in one I see my posts, in the other one I don't). Logging in is a challenge.
Anyway, I found several old posts but no satisfying answer:
After syncing/updating my USB via rekordbox sync manager I noticed on my Opus Quad that I have old versions of songs on the USB that I already deleted from my rb collection. My understanding of rb export and sync is that the USB should reflect what you sync and only that, not keeping old files and playlists around which then show up on an XDJ or OQ.
Is my understanding correct and sync just broken? Only workaround seems to do a full and fresh export to USB (format USB, export all new) unless only minor things have changed.

Hi Gabriel, wanted to get back to you earlier but couldn't log in to the forum. After deleting all cookies I could log in again and now I see this post (but my other community posts, I'm confused).
Anyway, I could fix the outdated track issue on USB with the correct rekordbox settings (to remove deleted tracks from USB). The wording in rb is confusing because the setting mentions "deleted playlists".
Thanks!
