Firmware Update Manager

Why is it that every time I boot up my Mac I get the firmware update manager asking me to download the latest version which I already did. I liked in ny start up items and don't see Alpha or Pioneer in there. 

I see the Update Manager in my dock and when I click in it asks how often do I want to check for updates, I have weekly checked.
