Why would the Opus behave differently in Software Control mode?!?! Its infuriating

Suddenly I can't hit Shift+Cue to add a memory cue? Its just frustrating. I would DJ off my Zip drive alone if I didn't constantly have problems exporting my tracks. There are so many issues with this software and controller....This is the most annoying thing to me right now though, and the suggestion to use another application, midiStroke to work around it 😖
