rx3 loose beat efx knob

I just picked up a brand new RX3 and noticed the efx pots have some considerable play and wiggle quite loosely from side to side particularly the Beat Efx Select amd Beat Efx Assign, is this normal as the rest of the pots all seem fine. I returned for a 2nd unit, this has the same problems but has less play however the Beat efx selector and cahnnel assign both are loose, what more concereing is the unit clearly has signs of being used and not factory brand new out the box, in fact both unit showed tell tale signs of box being unsealed and amd both being used, however the 2nd unit this is more evident. Quite disappointed with looseness of efx selectors, as previouslybhad an RR amd Aero amd never had notices these issue. I m now thinking maybe I should go to the dark side and get a Denon.
