Force Quit out of Rekordbox last night, app will not open now
I force quit out of Rekordbox, as I do from time to time (without any issues), except last night when I tried to reopen the app it showed the "Reading Tracks" window but nothing else. I have to force quit out of it every time now. Luckily I created a backup of the library from 3 days ago (through the Rekordbox backup function) and I simply want to restore those settings.
I think my database was corrupted when I force quit the first time last night. However every time I delete Rekordbox and re-download it, I still get a "Reading Tracks" screen followed by a crash. It appears as though my laptop has held onto some files for Rekordbox that don't get erased when I delete the entire app folder.
I need help trying to get a clean, workable version of Rekordbox on my laptop so I can restore the backup please.
Specs: MacBook Pro 15" operating on Big Sur 11.6 / I believe I was working on Rekordbox 4 or 5 when it happened.

Sorry, but both rekordbox 4 and 5 are old and obsolete versions for which support has stopped.
Please download and install rekordbox 6:
https://rekordbox.com/en/download/
If same still occurs with rekordbox 6, then please file an inquiry ticket here and our support team will gather some additional information to assist you in resolving this issue.
The same issue has occurred with Rekordbox 6 unfortunately, I will wile an inquiry ticket.
Update:
I was able to launch the latest version of Rekordbox after working with a Pioneer assistant to:
1) Remove all old Pioneer folders from within my Mac (I recommend taking an inquiry ticket before trying this on your own)
2) Reboot my computer
3) Download the latest version of Rekordbox from their website
My library backup worked well to repopulate my data, I had to update a few settings like Waveform Color, etc. but all my hot cues and track analyses were safe.
