CDJ 2000 HID does not work

I have 2 barely used CDJ 2000s  I never tried to connect them to record box and would like to use them with record box.  One CDJ works fine with HID mode.  The other doesnt.  I had the usb port checked and made sure all the solder points were fine and they are.  I have the latest driver and also the device has the latest firmware 4.33.....  As I stated one works fine the other doesnt.  I did a stare and compare under the utility menu and all the settings match except the one says player one and the other player2....  I am at a lost.  Would someone be able to assist?
